I have a friend who shoots ducks and geese with T shot over decoys and I have been telling him for years to down size he uses a 10 gauge and I use a 20 with more success using 5 shot

I use #4 black cloud for everything smaller than geese.

I prefer 15-20 smaller holes in a mallard than 5-10 bigger ones
