If you like to play online and don't want to pay for online then go with ps3 but one thing is there accessories are way more expensive then xbox 360s

it's really hard to decided which console is better xbox has Halo Reach and Gears of War 3 and Test Drive 2 Coming out and ps3 has Gran Tursmio 5 coming out and also the ps3 silm is really not attractive anymore which is now matte finish and no touch buttons so it's Between The 80gb PS3 or Xbox 360 SIlm for you

i think you should wait for the slim are you urgent on getting a gaming console cause in Australia it's coming out this Thursday 1st July which i'm not going to get staigth away i'm just waiting until other people buys it first so i could see what they say about the new xbox if it has RROD and by the way i forgot to tell you xbox 360s mite have rrod still

ps3 has something else that is coming out around September which is the playstation move it's very similar to the xbox kinect but you will have to buy three things a PlayStation Eye $79 Australian Dollers PS Move motion Controller $68 PS Move Navigation Controller $48 it's pretty much like the wii

if you like playing offline and and have the cash to buy xbox live gold or love getting Cheaper Accessories for the xbox 360 i think you should buy the xbox 360 anyway theres a new xbox 360 silm coming out which is going to be same price as the xbox 360 elite it be whisper quite it be smaller touch buttons two more usb ports and build in n wireless so the wireless is better then ps3s
