Why is it that when I type in 1.95 on excel 2010 It gives me a date????

@tdgfan98 Hi. Press CTRL+A to select all the cells on the worksheet. On the right side of the Home toolbar click the dropdown menu next to 'Clear' and click Formats. That should fix the problem. In Excel 2003 'Clear' can be found on the Edit menu.
