bro every chain of hadith has an Ashari in the chain, like Anawawi, or ibn hajar, the majority of the ummah is on the ashari creed, tahawi creed and maturidi creed, like muhammad alfatih,whom the prophet spoke about, Also salahudin alayubi was ashari, who are you 1200 yrs later to say all of a sudden you have discovered the true creed of islam, this ummah will not agree on falsehood but the muslims are rejecting the wahabis all around the world

I have spoken to sufis who care less about what the Quran and Sunnah say, they give more weight to their intellect and logic and believe they have a direct 'hot phone' to Allah! Lets not even get into their ideology of wahdatal wujood or heresies like fana and sama etc.

I hope you know the difference between the zahids of the past and todays hodge-podge of pantheist heretics who promote shirk and bid'ah under the banner of 'sufism'. Imams and scholars of the past you refer to were from the Ahlus Sunnah and not a different religion of what is now commonly known as Sufism and its various strands of tariqahs.
