"Christianity is dying in England."
My response - Good fucking riddance !

Why is religion dying?? Because all its claims and miraculosu accounts etc are a load of hokum, and science has answered many of life's former great mysteries.
During the reformation protestants fought for literacy and for Bible translations because they thought people were being kept in the dark by Catholicism. It is rather ironic that once people *did* become literate and put away ignorance, they began to see religion for the superstitious claptrap it is.

@AntiFascist2011 have you heard of the Byzantium empire? You ether converted to Christianity or died. This idea that Christianity must be perfect so every one must follow it was carried out for centuries! This is why you had atheists in the church. Christianity forced them there. This was not the topic though. The topic was what proof do you have that atheism destroys countries.

@AntiFascist2011 LOL. From someone who would not know what facts are if they bit him in the ass? You are talking out of your Khyber.

@YY4Me133 English common law developed hundreds of years after England had been fully Christian. After all, its based on the Bible so it would be pretty strange if it wasn't.
As for the "divine right of kings", where in the Bible does Jesus call for that? Some medieval king could have claimed that the sun gave him the "solar right of kings". Would that invalidate sunlight?
