I don't take requests, or answer technical questions.

A great segment from second season with Bob McGrath and Frank Oz. The synchronized two handed action on Snively is really well done, makes me wonder if Frank was working the mouth and Jim was working both hands.

  • Never trust a circle salesman to give you a square deal.

  • "You the tall one with the yellow feathers" Now who could he be talking too?

  • Just for fun, I am going to point out that this sketch was made the same year that Uma Thurman was born!

  • Saw Bob yesterday on TV on the Macy's parade. I about fell out of my chair when I learned this morning that he's now 78!! I grew up with this show. I was almost 3 years old when it debuted back in 1969. Bob & Susan (Loretta Long), still with the show after over 4 decades. Just amazing.

  • This is so funny! "You, the tall one with the yellow feathers."

  • Now, there are some tough tongue twisters early on in this sketch! LOL

  • Good thing Samuel Snively didn't have a lisp!

  • I thought a better ending to this skit might be:

Samuel, upset at the fact that some of his circles turned out to be counterfeit, leaves hastily before Bob can get a chance to tell him that he was interested in buying the square or the triangle.

Oh well, that salesman was as crooked as a 3-cornered circle anyway.

P.S.: Buy the 3-cornered circle and pay for it with a $3 bill.

  • is that the camera guy talking at the beginning? i love the rawness of the old episodes, where you could hear people in the backround and sometimes see the puppeteers. i like that low-budget feel

  • Hey, that's good!

  • I love Samuel Snively. Is this the only sketch with him? They should have done more.
