@KIFulgore he already regrets what he did
why are you being so harsh?
if he killed himself, it wouldn't make the family happier
if you make sure he knows he is unforgiven until the day he dies, you are putting yourself in a lower level than him
you would be just as bad

@RSaintfleur what you just said is the exact opposite of forgiveness
what he did was an accident
he apologized for what he did and he really ment it
like what the other comment says, an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind
if Kai and her family forgave him, why wouldn't you?
-
@RSaintfleur it was just an accident, he didn't mean for it to happen
at least he knows what he has done wrong and is able to apologize to Kai and her family
they already forgave him, why won't you?

@Hotwheels761 Shooting a little girl is more than just a mistake. She never did anything to him. It is not like he shot some old thug that he had personal issues with. From what I read online he fired rounds of shots so it was not an accident or aything like that. How could you have the heart to see a little innocent child playing outside and then pull the trigger? That is heartless. Apologies are not enough in this situation. She was too young for something like that to have happened to her.

@RSaintfleur Not really! He made a mistake and was man enough to own up and apologize. Him losing something won't make the little girl any better, it'll just cause more grief. Wow you grow a heart and help others not wish bad for them. God bless :)

@KIFulgore You are so immature for this comment. First of all it was a stray bullet so the little girl wasn't at all his target, making the entire event a tragic accident. He didn't necessarily HAVE to apologize but the fact that he did, makes him a better person. Even if the world didn't forgive him, if he repents and confesses his sins to God, he will be forgiven. I hope that God touches your heart the way He has many others. God bless !

The little girl that was shot is now in a wheelchair because of that he should lose his right to walk as a free man for the rest of his life.

Bah, I doubt his sincerity. He's just saying that to get time off from his prison sentence. If he was truly sorry, he would not have done what he did in the first place.
Criminals don't have brains and they never use it during a commission of a crime. He's a prime example of that.
An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

i do believe that his apology was sincere. People make mistakes in life and at least he is man enough and mature enough to not only apologize to the little girl and her family but he is also showing how much he is changing. There are not to many inmates in prison who will admit to a crime they've committed let along apologize. Everyone deserves a second chance and that beautiful little girl and her family shows people what forgiveness is.
