Iran is Shia...so I find it hard to believe they...at least the government of Iran is arming the Taliban. Iran even has fought against Al Qaeda fairly recently.

@Kamali22 he soviet union ,and also pashtun(afghan) of afhganistan had a policiy to seprate the persian of central ais(tajiks) from persian of iran,by expreesing on the name tajik:from:taj persian word for crown,ik:turkic suffix:mean fololower of crown(king/shah)bc persian had ling/shah system ,while turk and mongols had khan system.later they all mix these systems.turko mongolian used word tajik to point the persian of central Asia who were mostly in war with Turks.

@Kamali22 Bandari is not a correct form foe ethnicity or language.there is no such a thing as bandari persian:

they are Persian peaple also in bandar abbas which are the larestani.but they are many Arabs,black afro Iranian,ilamates,baluch, Indian origin people,....

Persian is a language and people who speak it as mother language are called Persian:

persian:IRAN:40=50 MILLION,AFGHANISTAN:20 MILLION . TAJIKISTAN:10 MILLION, UZBEKISTAN:5 MILLION,....

@Kamali22 baluchi and kurdish are north west Iranian , dialects ,they have more similarities.WHILE the dialects originated from PERSIS(pahlawi Persian) are:1)luri,bakhtiyari,larestan­i,dilects of fars,central iranian desert like:yazd,kerman province,sistani 2)modern Persian.is called by different names but same<by cocablureri,grammer,poets.letr­iture:which also known by names like:farsi,farsiwan,dari,parsi dari(darbari),tajik,...which have many accents in iran and outside iran:i

@sspersian Bravo! I Agree with your comments and yes, we are mostly Laar(Larestani) people and also our language, traditions etc is Laari which is another branch of persian. You said our lingo is similiar to lori/Bakhtiari, well perhaps in some tenses you could say that its kind of close to Lori.. also balochi language.

@Kamali22 and Persian didn't originate from Persis:their capital were in Persis(fars).like perseplos.persian came 3000 years back from indokosh mountains(north afghanistan,tajiketsan)to iran.genetic research shows pamiri tajiks who live in isolated mountains of indokosh have the highest iranian DNA by(75%) and they speak pure form of parsi which is similar to khorsani Persian of Iran.

larestani,luri,bakhtiyari persian dilects are more similar and more close to mid persian pahlawi,but modern persian have diffrent forms according to poerty:iraqi style(like hafez,sadi)with heavy mix of arabic,hindi form(like eghbal lahuri)and khorasani form which dont have arabic(like:works of ferdosi tusi,rudaki,..).

1)im from mashad iran:bandar abbasi some speak Persian but:genetically are very mixed with:Arabs,african ,ilamates.it was a port :so many settled there.even Portuguese and british broght many Indians there for work..also mashad r not 100% pure race they have mix with mongolians,except some isolated villages near mashhad like:shandiz,tus,...

geneticly purest peaple in iran are peaple in mazandaran,gilan who remain isolated due to forest,alborxz mountains.they even look the same.
