I want to see you use the Fat Man's Cuff!

Taking pressure (pressurizing) the same arm twice in such a short period of time guarantees vascular compression and a false reading on the second reading. It takes at least five minutes for the vascular region to recover from the compression.

I'm getting train as a CNA and my instructor never does thye first part this guy did to get the blood pressure ( pumping it to 220! what???) she told us that if we miss the palpitations the first time we pump the cuff to "180" then you have to take their blood pressure on their other arm or let the first arm 5 minutes before you try to pump the cuff again.

Excellent video, the best I've found after a considerable amount of searching. A litte technical though, which might not suit everyone.

Informative video! The good doctor's hair is atrocious, though.

@MsTwilight55 This would happen if the doctor/nurse put too much pressure on your arm and did not release the pressure long enough, so less blood to your brain = passing out
