Brad Barker was my helper in Midlothian Texas at a cogen power plant we built. I was working as an instrument fitter. My name is Shane Lee. He told me this whole story and its crazy seeing how all has went on the internet. I hope Brad is all good. It would be nice to see him again. The guy was certainly intelligent.

Rocket Belts were invented by Wendell Moore at Bell Aerospace in Buffalo. They flew from 1961 to 1969. Since then, private citizens have built and flown their own Rocket Belts. Most notably, Nelson Tyler's Rocket Belt that was flown at the 1984 Olympic Opening Ceremonies in Los Angeles. Tyler hired Bill Suitor to fly the belt. Bill is one of the original pilots from Bell Aerospace.
