  • this is one of the most homoerotic films id ever seen.

  • Sure did. I have tried to convince people of this, including a professor in whose class I first watched this. He thought I was crazy. I think it adds to the strangeness of this amazing interpretation.

  • after 40 years i can see again this movie and i am astonished by the TERRIBLE voice that has been given to the Callas. It is not her voice of course, but maybe a better actress was around at that time!

  • Poor Medea... now she finds out that he is kind into ... how can I say... unnnn ITALIAN SAUSAGE ;-)

  • The "Italian" sequences were shot in Pisa.

  • Funny, I spent ages looking for this, finally I downloaded a crappy avi, and well here it is. Thank you for uploading. Why is the film sound so bad? it feels so removed from the actual picture, weird. Callas looks gorgeous in this film, and I really like how it's done because it really does look like what people must've looked and lived like in those BC times, it's spot on, the tribal houses, the clothes, everything, I love it.

  • There is evidence that Callas herself dubbed apart from this copy in Italian,in English,French and in a monologue in Ancient Greek.Lets hope that this material will surface finally in the near future

  • UNICAAAAA

  • I know that Jason is gonna marry the king's daughter, and that breaks Medea's heart, but what is it here that breaks her...watching him dance? Does she know what he's gonna do, and it hurts to see him so happy...or is there something else?

This film is so full of gestures without words to explain (which is great), so I can't help but ask questions.

  • sembra che qualcuno sia andato nell'antichità con una telecamera nascosta e abbia ripreso...è sconvolgente!Callas superba

  • This film is amazing!
