One of God's first commands to us was to rule over His creation (Genesis 1:28). Good management involves neither over or underexploiting His creation. Done properly, we can enjoy every aspect of what He has given to us. When it comes to fishing, this involves more than just knowing how to cast. It involves catching a fish, cleaning it, cooking it, and enjoying a good meal. Watch this video and learn how to enjoy one of God's provisions.

  • is a king fish the same as king mackeral?

  • @yakov292 Yes, if you are in the Gulf of Mexico, no if you are in Australia or New Zealand, where kingfish = southern yellowtail amberjack

  • I caught 4 big ones in Tampa and instead of filleting them like you did, I just chopped 'em strait through like a steak about 12 per fish. Gave two fish to boat captain. You have to pop out the 4 little pieces of steak medallions because of the spine in the middle and cross shaped cartilage. So take your medallions and do a Japanese ginger, soy, sesame seed thing and there like scrumptious tender bite sized fish steaks. Try it sometime. It's even easier than filleting them, and just as good.

  • @aaronrocs That sounds really good, thank you for sharing the recipe! I'll have to try that next time.

  • WOW I JUST ENJOY IT ALL AS THE LORD SAID EAT NOT WASTE BUT I EVEY YOU BECAUSE I ALWAYS LOSE MY FISH

  • Great video mr!

  • Chartered a boat through Capt'n Kelly's Deep Sea Headquarters in Port A, between my Dad, Brother, my friend and I ended up with 103 lbs of Kingfish, one 25 lbs Mahi Mahi, and one 45 lbs Ling. Needless to say, we'll be eating good for a while. Also, if ever on the island, go see Polly Anna, they have the biggest gulf shrimp I've ever seen for $5 a lbs, went home with 20 lbs, would have carried more if I knew I could store it! Great video.
