A short look and testing of the FNP 40. Not my gun, but I did get a little window of opportunity to fire it.

  • You ever get a chance to shoot the fnp 45 ? I just picked one up, haven't shot it yet but I look forward to it!

  • Well I'll be doggone! It looks like a heck of a dependable and accurate sidearm for the money. My wife and I bought one of these because of their solid sig like construction (and it didn't break the bank). We pick it up after the first week of next month. With ergonomics akin to Sig Sauer, it looks like we found a keeper.

  • you should play songs on the steel haha

  • Looks like God opened the window. When we He open the door to let us see more?

  • Mr Hickok45 when are you gonna do another video on this pistol? This one was short and sweet, but I think this pistol deserves a longer video.

  • that was a tease.... chapter 2 is a must.

  • @rhogge1220 if you are new, which you obviously are, i would recommend 9mm. it's the cheapest to shoot, and it's got much more manageable recoil. the .40 has more perceived recoil than both of the others, and .45 ammo is way more expensive than 9mm. some ppl will tell you 9mm isn't enough. those people are morons. 9mm will allow you to shoot enough to get good, and that's what's most important.

  • @pray4chicken i use a blackhawk holster for mine. just use one for the xd. they are basically the same shape.

  • @12chrisdrive I'm not going to make a video lol but I have the FNX in 9mm and it's awesome. I like the SA/DA capability, and i haven't felt a more comfortable gun. It fits like a glove. I have 1000+ rounds through it, the only ftfs experienced were from my gf limp wristing it. i've personally fired over 1000 with no hang ups. plus, the field strip is so fast and easy. very accurate too. i can shoot out the bullseye at 7m no prob, and i'm no expert.

  • I shot one of these recently. Felt and looked like a nice gun. The trigger had quite a bit of creep using the single action. Took me 4 or 5 shots to get used to. I prefer the triggers on 1911s, Glocks, and XDs... but once I got used to the FNP's trigger I was just accurate as I usually am. Hickok, you sure make it look easy... keep up the good videos.
