@peanutbutterblah gypsies were part of a very low cast or even dalit descent from modern day punjab and rajastan. even today there are hindu casts were stealing, or begging or dancing in redlight is part of their job. because this redlight jobs they turned white and white when they moved to the west. very dark skinned, indian looking gypsies are less mixed because they dont worked in redlight and dont sold their daughters, those folk is more conservative
