This video shows two songs of the recent concert of India Arie on the North Sea Jazz Festival 2007.
To be honest, I did not know anything about her, but I am very pleased with this superb, almost spiritual performance!
And I just love the first song, it's so beautiful!

Let me correct you. She IS spiritual! She had been my favourite for so long when I had a chance to listen to her live during my USA visit. I am still speechless when I'm think about this experience.

@ halea41 - I've never heard the Don Henley version but I'm sure it's quite good as he is excellent. I have to say that I appreciate this version (India's) as it isn't all doom & gloom. Sometimes ones that you love or loved will move on and although sad, sometimes it is for the best. And I believe that when you forgive them and start to learn to live without them that there is a peace . As opposed to feeling sorry for yourself and/or harboring hate for them.
