  • Love this video and your instruction is a wonderful bridge to written patterns (which have always confused me) I am more of a visual learner, and your videos have helped me re-learn how to crochet and now is igniting the desire to learn how to make crocheted lace. Any recommendations on learning lace? Thank you once again!

  • Depending on your eyesight, it may be challenging to see where to put your stitches. I have purchased some inexpensive ($2.00) reading glasses for reading the tiny instructions and if I find it challenging to see where to put the hook. Good light is also helpful to see the stitches.

  • Thank you so much for posting this. It was very informative and a great way to learn :)

  • I am glad you like it, thank you.

  • how could i translate this pattern to bigger yarn?

  • Work the pattern with yarn and an appropriate size crochet hook. You may need to add more chains if it pulls to much.

  • Hi Teresa! I just wanted to let you know that I've watched this video before, and I bought crochet cotton in hopes of learning how to crochet with thread, but it hurt my hands too much, so I just dug out some light worsted weight yarn and made it. It looks so pretty! Thank you so much! I'm just going to make them bigger. I'm not a newbie, so I think it will be pretty easy. Going to make my mom some doilies to put under her living room lamps for Christmas since the old ones are showing their age.

  • can you please make a tutorial on how to join doilys to make a table cloth??

  • i think you go a little too fast..

  • Thank you so much! I have not crocheted since I was small. Recently I decided since I was a granny (41 yrs young) I should be making my little grand-babies blankets, hats, socks, and so on. I am gradually finally making blankets as apposed the capes (I guess I was dropping a stitch each row...LOL). I have made a couple of "doilies", but am wondering how I keep from the doiley getting all rumpled (like it should drape over something). How do I increase stitches? Each row, every other row?

  • great video but i was wondering is there anyway to make this bigger?

  • Your videos are great! I have trouble following written patterns. I just saw another video done by Frances Johnson for the popcorn pinwheel bedspread and bought the pattern. Would you consider a tutorial for this pattern?

  • I love this video. It's really useful. :D
