@80sMetallion Haha no biggie, I re-read what I wrote and it doesn't really make sense xD
What I was trying to say was that when Jake wrote the riff he was probably trying to capture some of Randy's style, you know? To make it so fans would hear the song and know right away that it was an Ozzy tune.

@80sMetallion Considering I never said that he did, I don't know why you would say that :) But it's not hard to tell! A lot of Jake's stuff with Ozzy have a lot in common with Randy's classical influenced playing. The only thing that really stands out against Randy is Jake's tendency to use a lot more blues stuff, like the solo in this tune.
Which isn't to say Randy didn't ever fuse his solos with blues. (See pt3 of the SATO solo <3)

@fullautomatic555 Considering Randy Rhoads never ever once played the song Bark at the Moon....it's kinda hard to tell. Jake and Randys style were totally different in form.
