She isn't cruel, some horses are just not as lazy like some people here. Worldclass as she ride her horses. Sad horses are the ones treated by Brooke Hospital. I hope all the critic people take a look on what they're doing, for horses and donkeys and support them, instead of talking about three luxury horses.

I have to give her credit for riding all of her tests so beautifully. she really knows how to perform well in competition.

that being said, I hate what she does behind the scenes.

I mean, so what Rollkur gives the horse extremely flashy knee action and it makes them concentrate? ROLLKUR IS CRUEL!

I would NEVER put my horse in that kind of misery! she just does it because she wants to win. if she was a true equestrian, then she would actually have happy horses.

I don't understand why people are saying that Anky is "cruel" to her horses. All you have to do is watch Painted Black in this video, and you can see how much he loves doing his work. Dressage is meant to be beautiful and effortless, and that's what I see here. Bravo, Anky and Painted Black!!! :)

Out of all the current top riders, Anky still has the best music, especially transitions in the tempo, in my opinion :)

For all of you commenting on this that are accusing Anky of being cruel to her horses:

None of you can prove this and Anky is a proffessional horse trainer and rider and she has produced some of the best horses in the world. Anky is very professional with her work and no one should question her training methods without proof. So stop critisizing and just enjoy dressage at its best.

Barring the fact that Anky's a serious horse trainer and might resort to strong methods to get her point across some horses, her ride IS really great. Her horse is light as a feather! His tail is swishing back and forth. This freestyle is quite intricate, not stuff that most are doing on a regular basis. The test is over six minutes. If you're looking to see how she cues her horse at transitions, you can see how successfully she gets the job done. Btw, I want to buy Painted Black! WOW!
