You guys that think this is good need to wake up and listen to more bootlegs from 71-75. 1977 was not a good year for Page. Bonham himself said "we could go out there and bang on pots and pans and people would love it "

i agree. it wasn't a good year for them. there's only a handful of '77 shows that are really entertaining, and at least half of the rest is disappointing boring routine playing, plaqued with mistakes at that. But it's still far better than 1980 tour which is simply shockingly bad. I love LedZepp to bits and have all their shows.... and only 1 from 1980.

@PastowanyKaban Dude idk why nut i love the 80's show's ESPECIALLY the ones that were awesome, the 77' tour is like on the top of my list of favorites , but there were alot of mistakes made on said tour 0.o

@PastowanyKaban ya there wasn't as many good shows from 77 but you started getting more soundboards which made them easier to listen to and you cant deny destroyer even though some of the earls court blow this stuff away

The 77 shows are not Page's favorites either and it is safe to assume that is why he left this tour off the Zeppelin live DVD in 2003. After Zep played the O2 arena in 2007' Robert Plant was quoted as saying that they had just played their best show since 1975.

@PastowanyKaban I agree with you I love them saw them once dont remember the date 5th night of 6 la forum 77 very dissapointing Bonzo rip,fell asleep during california,no whole lotta love,no rock n roll,they skipped their regular encore for the tour that night because some IDIOT set off a cherry bomb or m80 200 whatever,so we all got hosed...still love though there was a couple of great moments...but

If you listen to any bootlegs of this solo from the 1973 tour, they are all waaaaaay better than this. It just shows the decline of a brilliant guitar player. Drugs really did a number on this guy. Don't get me wrong, I love Pagey, but he just straight up lost his ability for a while. Say he temporarily misplaced it for about 15 years. When I saw Page and Plant in 1994&95, his playing was excellent, and from what I saw from the O2 he was great. . It just goes he needed to sober up.

sure Jimmy is incredible here... this is probably one of his most imaginative solos. though what can't be forgotten is how incredible John Bonham is here. absolutely flawless performance here
