@hal9khal well i have seen all the Star Trek movies and this one isn't the best but it's better then William Shatner's bad acting.
But Lenard is a good director i will admit that.

@aif004 and maybe you can try notice that this movie is good for people which never saw any ST and is very bad for trekkies - whis is small group of people - that means this movie was success, its only sad. For me if this wasnt presented as ST it would be still very bad uninteresting beverly hills sci-fi. And I love sci-fi.

@aif004 Im not such an idiot to not understand the main story of the movie :)
I wasnt criticising the story but the way it was made (like the bad casting and choice of the director, ridiculous action like from power rangers to name some things - well thats the direction the movies will go now, harvesting and screwing successful old movies and series), I would even say that the even the TOS was better then this. Watch all ST movies and then this one and you will probably understand what I mean :)
