This one starts off very free, without a consistent melody. The melody then forms organically out of the chord structure. Please let me know what you think of this style!

  • very nice! a little less pedal please :)

  • @Drog311 good call :)

  • Great one! I wish I could play chords like that on the spot ;)

  • @doelman thank you!

  • Very nice. It was a bit muddy during the beginning but It got better around the 1:20 mark when you created a melody rather than arppegiating. I liked the style!

  • @Sepharite Thank you! Yeah, I agree, the arpeggios at the beginning do get pretty confusing to listen to.

  • Sounds nice. I like the change in dynamics when you get soft near the end - provides a good contrast to the earlier section.

  • @kendrickhuynh thank you so much! I'm really glad you were able to pick out the melody in that - it sometimes takes another pianist to spot the melodies within long arpeggio sequences :)

  • @doelman glad you dig it! a lot of people don't like the lush chords because it's difficult to discern a concrete melody from it, but I've been working on trying to make clear melodies backed by that sort of chordal texture...it's a work in progress :)

  • @darx117 Thanks darx :)

  • amazing!!!!
