  • Fuck that man ! Kill your own daughted in exchange for a bit of wind.

Thats just cold and heartless, that little girl loved and trusted him.

I bet he never forgave himself and if hell exists I bet he went there.

  • @charliehearts31 Yeah, the other man is Odysseus, who was known for his reasoning, diplomacy, and speaking skills. I'd want him with me everywhere I go to make sure I don't say anything stupid ;-)

  • @oewnaynailf odysseus is absolutely the best!!! and the only one who uses his brains!!!

  • WTF ACHILLES IS BALD?!?!

  • is it just my laptop, or is this video fuzzy ???? its really winding me up!

  • Wow...the character he plays is a little iffy, but Rufus Sewell is just great in this. He'd cold and calculating, but there's so much emotion behind him.

Favorite actor in the movie, by far! ;D

  • lol this is like the d-day invasion

  • @bookguy12000 i see your point. But its not really the same with judeo-christian god,the greeks would never have their gods supporting any "barbarian" nation. For them every non greek nation was barbarian.Homer says that the origins of Troys is greek. Also he says that some of her allies were barbarians which makes sense(asia minor). The whole god thing isnt really that important,i just wrote it for emphasis.

  • @aperantos13 to greeks, the so-called "greek gods" aren't only for the greek, just like how the judeo-christian god isn't just the god to the jews but also muslims and catholics.

To the greeks, these are the gods for all and these are all the gods that exist. In this context, a 50-50 split between the two opposing sides makes sense.

  • @tomenicus nobody really knows the origins of Troy:P All we know about it, is what Homer says..He says its greek.Truth to be told, the Trojans have greek names and worship Greek gods. Also they speak Greek.Half of the greek gods went with the trojans..That makes no sense if the greeks thought that Troy was a foreign state. There are many theories..i think they were greeks because many trojans had relatives-family among the Greek troops(it s said in Iliad).Yeap..it is always about trade :P

  • @aperantos13 That's what Homer says. On the real, Troy was considered to be Hittitian state, so diferent culture than that of myceanean. Real campain took place about 1200 b.c.. After battle of Kadesh Hittitie empire went into conflict with Myceanean states, for the supremacy over east - west trade routes. That's what that war was for, but this girl is worth fighting ;-)

  • @Danhra neither the Greeks nor the Trojans are the bad guys in Iliad. Also Homer states that Troy was a greek city so it describes it as a civil war.
