Done in 9~10 hours. Done mostly with a brush shaped after a bush xD I forgot to record a small part of the sketching, so it kinda skips, but no big deal. As for the music, I usually resort to Muse when I cannot find other music. They do the job quite well!

A lot of people ask me what program and tablet I use; Photoshop and a Wacom Bamboo :)

  • The seam in the katana strap was what sold me. It's that level of real-world detail that really makes sci-fi/fantasy paintings work, I think.

  • @Beschaulichkeit Thanks! One small detail can often bring another dimension to a painting!

  • *watches cool Painting being made*

    Suddenly wild Katana appears

    *Notice self Drooling*

  • @blacklightstudio2 Haha! The katana does add another dimension :)

  • a thousand bravos! thats tremendous! could i ask you what brushes you use? and their settings.. and i mean generally in your work, but also in this one..

  • @apadesigner Thanks! :) In this one, I did some of the base using a brush based on some random bush. Gives sort of a splattered ink line effect! However 99% of the time, I use the hard round default, with opacity pen pressure :)
