Akram Vignan
There are two paths of attaining Self realization. One is through the traditional path known as Kramic path, and the other one is known as Akram path. Akram means without steps (step-less) or direct path. It is a short-cut path for attaining Self realization. This path comes once in a million years and remains only for a short time !
This Akram path, known as Akram Vignan (Science) was naturally and spontaneously revealed to the Gnani Purush., Dadashri (Shri Ambalal Muljibhai Patel also fondly known as Dada Bhagwan) in 1958. This path of liberation is direct (elevator) path to Self-realization where you can continue with all your worldly activities and still achieve liberation! You are not required to do any rituals or penance here. All you have to understand from Gnani is your real Self, who is the doer? and why does the worldly life hold you captive? Those who seek ultimate liberation, also called as Moksha, can be assured of attaining it through this Akram path. Though ultimate liberation is not possible in the current time cycle, but with this science of Akram; its possible for one to attain a level of spirituality whereby he has only one more life before final salvation.
Through this Akram science of separation, Gnani Purush Dadashri makes a clear line of demarcation between our real Self, the Soul and the relative self. And with this knowledge of the Soul, the awareness of our real Self is awakened and this awareness is eternal. After this Akram Enlightenment, the Gnani gives us five agnas ( five cardinal principles). These five principles are just directives (understanding only) for conducting our worldly life. Nothing on the outside changes as far as our worldly life is concerned; we still fulfill our parental, family and worldly obligations with equanimity. The application of these principles in our daily life interactions help us settle all our pending karmas with equanimity.
The Akram path is without rigid rules. There are no pre-requisites in terms of merits of achievement for you to qualify for Self realization through the science of Akram. However, you must have absolute humility towards the Gnani and the Knowledge he imparts and the approach of I dont know anything about soul. The Gnani emphatically states that in this path you neither do anything nor you let go of anything. You simply have to understand the science and apply the five principles in day-today life.
After Param Pujya Dadashri left his mortal body on January 2, 1988. his designated spiritual heirs., Pujya Dr. Niruben Amin and Pujya Shri Deepakbhai Desai have continued this work of salvation by travelling across various cities /villages within India and abroad (USA, Canada, UK, Spain, Germany, Africa, Australia, Singapore, Dubai etc.). Thousands of spiritual seekers have taken advantage of this opportunity and are established in the experience of pure Soul while carrying out their worldly duties. Incredible as it may seem, it is indeed a reality today that hundreds of thousands who have attained this path can attest to experiencing liberation even whilst living their worldly life.
Thus, path to liberation has been simplified as never before by Dadashri, the master Scientist of this Akram path.
