Mao Asada of Japan Wins Olympic Silver Medal in Women's Figure Skating

With a technically and artistically amazing freeskate, Japan's Mao Asada earned the Olympic silver medal in Vancouver. Here is her lovely short program from 2009 TEB set to Adam Lambert's "Sleepwalker." Congratulations, Mao!

Mao Asada is visually very interesting, I'm not a technical expert on ice skating, but I think she's really beautiful to watch on ice, the use of her long limbs, flexibility and speed, her skating is like an abstract piece of art, either people get it or they don't. She's amazing.

I really don't understand why people have to bash each other. Yuna and Mao are both amazing skaters if one of them wins a medal it wasn't because anyone cheated the judges just gave it to the person who they believes deserved it.
