@luvinwafflez That's what I meant to say. What I was getting at is that there are some lines that are easier to hit against lefties than they are against right handed people. It's much harder to hit a right handed person on a parry 4 >> chest flick than it is to get a lefty with that. You're right though, the better fencer is the one who wins. People like to blame it on the hand though.

@xenadon i am left handed, and when i fence ppl who are right/left handed i do the same actions, just in different lines. It does not matter about the hand, if you are better you can win, if u lose, its not b/c theyre left handed.

this is Ultra right??

I don't have a lot of trouble fencing lefties anymore. I actually have a couple actions that I reserve specifically for lefties.

@nattytheninja Yeah. You just have to turn your mind "The other way". But some beginners can't get used to something totally different. so yeah.

@yihd Yeah, and I understand that, there are only two lefties at my club, but if you are a truly superior fencer, than you should be able to win, regardless. However, my friend loses to me because she doesn't fence lefties well. In this case, she looks at it as she lost because of something she needs to work on, not because I have a huge advantage, which is fair. Personally, I have problems fencing tall people, but do really well against smaller people, so i think it all evens out on some level.

@nattytheninja Some people rarely fence with lefties. Like me. No leftie in my club at all

@TheDomzal God, i hate it when people use the "i lost because you are a lefty" excuse, esp. because there are so many left handed fencers now that if you are at all expirianced it shouldn't matter. I beat this guy 15-1 and he said he lost because I'm left handed! just bothers me alot, obviously :P
what an arrogant prick
