Well said BASU, thank god i'm not the only one who thinks that way. Bachans are over rated, someone needs to tell them since they dont see it on their own. I dont even watch bollywood because they just never learn to let go of an actor especially bachan. We have so much talent, let this old fart take a hike. Bachan, jia, abhi, ash all are camera and attention hoggers. Bachan's reply to basu shows his low self esteem, i guess truth hurts lol. Go get lost bachan along with your wife and son.

I think many people out there will mostly agree with basu, except the fact, why does Amitabh needs to retire? Lata Mangeshkar never really retired, and our country is blessed because of her accomplishments for many many years. God Bless Amitabh!

Amitabh has friends and well-wishers are the right places. i can assure you this Basu guy will be finished in a year or 2.

No top production house will offer him a film to direct.

Absolutely well said ! Anurag Basu .. This man Amitabh should retire gracefully or he stands to lose everything that he carefully built. Amitabh's reply misses the point. Amitabh reacted emotionally . As such Amitabh is already pushing 70 and this is the time for him to call it quits. Or he will be soon pushed out by his fans.Thanks Zoomdekho
