The International festival of Puppet Theater in Jerusalem is a yearly event, taking place in August each year as part of the summer activities in the city. The Festival presents children and adult plays, while maintaining a wide variety of high standard contemporary shows and with the best of artists and puppeteers from all over the world. The Festival serves 2 main purposes: bringing the best of Israeli and foreign puppet theater for the audience, thus expanding the local cultural experience and enriching the dialogue between Israeli and foreign artists in order to promote and develop this field of art in Israel.
