U2- 4th of July

Just a really cool, and often overlooked, u2 song from their legendary album, "the unforgettable fire." Listen and enjoy!

This song has the genius of Brian Eno to thank...He was sitting at the desk 'twiddling knobs' while Edge and Adam where doing this during a 'break' from recording. It wasn't meant to go on the finished album, but when Bono heard it, he insisted it was included. Good Call!

@extreme67 I get that you really like this song, and its cool that you're passionate about it. But spamming it is just going to make people resent you.

Am I the only one who sees a nightime arctic frost?

This is a gem of a track.

Rolling Stone thinks The Joshua Tree & Achtung Baby deserve their places in the top 100 greatest albums of all time.

But without the magnificent edifice of sound that is The Unforgettable Fire, there would be no Joshua Tree, no Achtung Baby...

Bono has made some stupid public moves over the years, but I've never heard an U2 album I didn't like. I enjoyed their experimental albums as much as the classic rock stuff.
