I hope some more people get to see this-Alex's brief vocal is def. at the level of Stevie Nicks in this clip,and his tone is soooo rich,and layered -it may even be better than Stevie Nicks,and that is AMAZING,because she is one of my favorite vocalists...

@Ricearoni80 You are so right... I didn't even realize it till I watched this play back that Alex looked like that. It's kind of funny because I think that's the only time I noticed his being nervous on stage. Oh... & Hope isn't so bad. She sounds like what a female type for Alex's tone might sound like. Sorry if that sentence is hard to understand. Had a hard time wording it.

EVERYBODY!!! On the american idol website, they put a "sound off" box and it asks which contestant left to soon!!!! The petition to get alex lambert is working... go to the AI website and choose Alex!!

alex has the most unique sound, just like a pro... he looked so frightened though its hilarious... when I listen to him i forget he's 19, but darn he's really still a kid. Can't wait for him to mature some more since his voice is really something special.

It's hilarious how Mary called Alex the "weakest link"...then he goes out there and doesn't even look like he wants to be out there, yet his vocals blow everyone else's away.
Meanwhile, Mary screws up right off the bat.
