  • @thedustinification planeswalkers are permanents that die when they take too much (player) damage. Come on theres some room to work with there.

  • @BrecSanchez1 i know i was saying i enjoyed magic more before planeswalkers with dual lands and the ability to splash for anything... im not a fan of whoever drops the most jaces wins makes me miss the good old days.. i would trade the current planeswalkers for the complete set of shocklands to come back

  • @thedustinification umm there werent planeswalkers until lorwyn so ya you didnt have to deal with planeswalkers

  • Ravnica block was the pinnacle of Magic design in my opinion. The power creep of creatures and planeswalkers, the lessening of the power of other card types has created a very different game. I cand efinitely say I enjoyed Magic more around Kamigawa-Ravnica-9th Standard and Ravnica-Time Spiral-9th Standard. And not ebcause of the multicolored theme of Ravnica, I just feel the game was much more balanced with a lot of diversity and uniqueness.

  • Were you not allowed to use sleeves back then? O_o

  • awesome upload, i just wish wizards would finally make some videos that are in hd or atleast high quality eventually.

  • These were the good old days when creatures weren't as good, but they weren't bad. Also you had multiple levels of spells that you could control the game with, glare of subdual comes ot mind.

  • wow these were the good days dual lands for all colors and plenty of cards without overpowerful planeswalkers that are almost unanswerable outside of ratchet bomb and bounce
