PVC is in almost every home water system not a big issue, home owners spraying synthetic chemicals on lawns to make them "green" is a far more serious issue and far more toxic to humans as well.

52cm OR BIGGER? That's a 20" pipe! That's nearly as big as a 55gal drum. Could we get some clarification on this, or if you're sticking to 52cm on this? Thank you.

Hey, how sure are you guys about the worms going out and "distributing" the castings on their own? I would love this sort of self harvesting setup, but my understanding of red wiggles is that they tend to stay put on the surface and not move too much.

PVC leaches toxins as it degrades. Wanted to seek out pipes in other materials. Just saw that I can buy ceramic pipes online. Will try it out and drill some holes in them. Also, heard that you could use bamboo or metal, but will try the ceramic pipe!*

Nice video. Would like to try it out. Though doesn't PVC emit dioxin? I'd like to use a non-toxic worm tower. Wish I could purchase some pre-made worm towers that were ceramic or porcelain.
