If u liked Flame of Recca the anime , then u will defenitely love the manga(329 chapters) which tells the rest of the storyline frm where the anime had stopped. Defenitely the real action starts frm there. A whole lot of other characters and powers. Also u can see a more powerful Recca and Kurei and the most powerful villain Mori Kuran...the Tendou Jigoku. The last part of the manga is shown here - the final fight against Tendou Jigoku. You can read the manga at 'onemanga'.

Late reply, but that's because the anime was made around two years after the manga started (which was 1995); they probably didn't have enough budget to go on (they can't make fillers like they can now), and they didn't want to drag out the series for too long since they already caught up with the manga.
