President Obama was definitely wrong on his relative in Germany and the number of States. Those are hardly serious gaffs. And he may have misspoke the timelines, but he was dead-on with the message.

You would have to be nitpicky to demonize Barack Obama for those things.

Bush considered Chavez an enemy and a threat to democracy. Bush never tried to seek any understanding with Venezuela. Chavez was then re-elected in 2000 and 2006 under the Bush administration.

It's true Chavez didn't come into power under Bush but Bush's adminstration became further divided from Venezuela and S. America.

I think Obama has a point here.
