The quality of this video is 'jumpy' and kind of 'wobbly' too, sorry about that, otherwise it's pretty clear.

GATS period interview with all four members, but Richey and Nicky do all the talking (mostly Richey). They talk about a variety of things though, such as how important writing lyrics are to them, changes in the (then) current music sound and scene, where they prefer to hang out, and much more......enjoy! :)

hi kamilloquai. thanx 4 your comment. i hope & pray that Richey is still alive too. ever since he went missing, i never felt that he died. he was so freakin' smart & i think if anyone can pull off a disappearence, Richey could have. i don't think he wanted to die, i think he just wanted to get away & start a new life, out of the public eye. he was so sensitive, not weak, but sensitive. like you, i still think of him as missing & i always will until there is 100% proof, either way, dead or alive.

but i admit that i'm having a hard time coming to terms with Richey being "legally declared dead" or "presumed dead". tho i understand & respect that this was something his parents felt was the right thing & time to do regarding his situation. i can only imagine how hard & painful that had to be to make that choice. esp. w/all the hope & heartache that have endured prior to this. but i still hold onto hope that Richey is alive & happy. he doesn't even need to come back, just wish i knew he is ok

i truly do think like you do, i have a strange feeling that he is alive, but has no intention to get back, so we can be despaired by such an awareness...

PEHUKCA. yes, i do too have a feeling Richey is still alive & it's not wishful thinking, it's a gut feeling like you said. but i think it would be bad for Richey to come back though. he would *never* have any privacy if he did, the fans & press would be all over him. something i think which was in part of why he left in the first place. i don't think he could deal with all that much attention & i don't think he wanted to be a "rock star" but more of a poet & to write amazing things.

Hiya j7609, when the sad news came out that Richey had been declared as 'presumed dead' when it was on the Wales News they said that Richey had been 'declared dead' and or 'presumed dead' and newspaper reports said the same. For the record anyway i see Richey as declared 'presumed dead' although i prefer to think of him as still missing and hope and pray that he is still alive.
