This is a remarkable place to visit with a great story to tell. Nestling in the beautiful valley of the spectacular River Mourne on the western edge of the Sperrin Mountains, this historic linen village is a Conservation Area which boasts the furthest west in Europe of the large spinning mills of the Industrial Revolution; 40 listed buildings; waterpower which was once the greatest in the British Isles and a sporting tradition which includes the defeat on their home ground of the West Indies Cricket Team who were bowled out for a total score of 25 runs on 2nd July 1969.
It's great to have this new film highlighting the achievements of our great wee village.
Fantastic.

A fantastic film. Brilliantly put together. It's great to have all that history recorded in this way so that the story and traditions of the village and the mill are never lost!
Well done!
