I didn't think the passenger cars of 1992 were such deathtraps.

I have to say on this race it was more like a Race that was never going to finish and not only to boot it was flat out cold. And I was wondering how there how wasn't more cars that didn't crash because the couldn't get up to Temperature

@brkyrd86 yes he did.
In the last 3 restarts, yo have lost MEars, Emmo and Mario, just a crazy day

I often wonder that as well. It would certainly be nice. But can you imagine how much a car would COST you if it came with this safety/technology. Back in '92, one of these race cars would cost over $300,000. One thing SHOULD be made into federal law: the use of racing helmets in passenger cars in addition to motorcycles and atv's.

Sam Posey made a GREAT point at 2:13. I still fail to understand why people are killed in passenger cars at only 50-60 mph, when these men and women on the track can WALK AWAY from terrible accidents at 180-200+ mph. Why can't some of this technology be implemented into road cars?

"This race has benn turned into a Demolition Derby" Sam says. I think it´s turned into the "Survivor Series".

Man seems like every time they re-started the race another accident occurred!
