蕭芳芳，原名：蕭亮。
英文名：Josephine Siao / Xiao Fang Fang (1947-3-13-)
原籍江蘇吳縣甪直，生於上海，原名蕭亮，芳芳是導演嚴俊取的藝名。2歲時隨父母移居香港。七歲開始拍電影，第一部參演作品是《小星淚》(1954)，年僅11歲的蕭芳芳已­經主演了11部電影。至1958年，其中成名作是國語片《苦兒流浪記》曾參展美國，蕭芳芳一度被港台影迷譽為中國的秀蘭‧鄧波兒。她演唱的電影插曲《世上只有媽媽好》，廣­為傳唱，更是傳誦不衰。。

I saw this film in the 1950's. It was a tears jerker. Sadly, there are some mothers who absconded from their roles and duties as primary care givers to their kids. These kids who become grown ups (adults) will view the world as a cold, cruel and dark place. They may also suffer from depression later in life.

It has been so long that I saw this movie. But the universal truth of mother's love being so important still holds true today.

There must be something beyond all these in life.

This song touched me a lot..... after working far from home for the pass few years .....i started to know the blessing that i got from GOD ..... i miss a lot the days i have with my mother....
