The difference between a liberal and a conservative is that a liberal watched 1 minute of this video and said Newt is an Idiot. A conservative watched the whole 15 minutes and got an education on what Newt is all about helping America. So what do i mean by all of this? I see your point, but imo you're making the opposite mistake I am.

Just as I can't know if he's not changed [which you rightly pointed out], you cannot be sure that he has. So this statement: "Newt's changed and reconciled." is as wrong as any of mine.

I think some healthy uncertainty is best, and if there's choice between two good candidates and one doesn't have that uncertainty, I'd vote for that person.

You cant judge a man's ability as an official based on your interpretation of moral or not morally acceptable behavior. I gues you COULD if you wanted to, but it doesnt change what he does on the job. IF thats the case, you can go back and DQ every politician in history pretty much.. bc Im sure there are plenty who's infedelities have never been revealed
