Drop by the special dining room of Smith's Duckett House on any given weekday around noon, and you'll notice that the lunchtime chatter is not spoken in English. This is the place where rookies and native speakers, professors and students alike, gather for lunch and the opportunity to
practice hammering out the grammar of another language, from French and Italian to Hebrew and Korean.
