Model Railway Exhibition 2009 Part 5

The Mid Essex Model Railway Club's 32nd exhibition held at Shenfield High School, Brentwood Essex. 19th Sept 2009.

29. Victoria Park in O gauge by Ian Futers.
The layout is based on the terminus at Helensburgh Central, with a similar track plan but with the addition of a small siding for stabling locomotives, parcels or Departmental stock.
Circa 1970 & located in the Whiteinch area of Glasgow, passenger trains are operated with typical motive power found at Eastfield Depot.
A small amount of parcels traffic is also utilised.
The layout was featured in the builder's first publication "Modelling Scotland's Railways", with signed copies of this & his latest books were available at the exhibition.

That would be it! I remember i was the same once! i was taking turn operating my dads club layout, and getting all these people asking a million question and taking pictures of the layout. Was 13 at the time, but i was shy.
