Using quotesis a good way to hone in on things btw, for example "dog leg" = 2 mil, dog leg (no quotes) = about 100 mil ...lifts to pee 1.8 mil, "lifts to pee" just 71. ..Can we get much higher?

When IB came to my own small town in 1978 or so and played this song they introduced it saying it was co-written by Jon Anderson of Yes. The only time I knew the two groups touring together was early 70s (when Yes bought their sound system at the tour's end).
As for how and when the song was written, seems UT won't let you post addies, do a google on "Pearly Gates, Jon and Ron, Copenhagen 1975" It's partly explained there.
