This was so fascinating, thanks for sharing it with us. The bathrooms are so different there! I kind of liked the separation between the toilet and the actual shower/bath.

It looked like he was cleaning the stove (area). I've seen some other videos by Japanese vloggers thought where they said it's not uncommon to have to really clean the entire apartment (including the kitchen area) if you move into a previously used apartment. Is he just being a nice guy, or is this something that differs per region or....?

i found it interesting that you can start the bath from the controls in the kitchen. is that because it's next to the hot water heater? also, i'm from the great plains in the midwest of the U.S. and i would love to wake up to see a mountain like mt. fuji every morning. the biggest hills around here are landfills.
