CONT:
2nd problem is the way the lid connect's to the reservoir, the plastic shaft that extends from the cylinder to the lid is a rather frustrating design, it has grooves that makes it seem like it's not ment to spin but 5 mins (half-way) through freezing it starts to spin in the moulded socket in the lid.. due to the grooves this makes a hell of a racket and sounds like it's gonna snap completely, at this point all we can do is undo the lip and rest it ontop..
Help Appreciated, Thanks

Hey guys, got one of these for the family on christmas as well as a ice-cream maker (yet to use)..
This slurpie machine is bloody great, altho we have had 1 or 2 problems..
Before i scare you away "IT DOES WORK" and makes some of the best frozen coke's ive drank, mainly because i dont have to drive home before enjoying it in the pool.. lol..
1st problem (my fault im starting to think) sometimes it will only freeze the liquid touching the cylinder, Make sure it is complete dry before starting!

@OHR4CH4EL You need to use a sugar based drink. They specifically say that sugar free drinks (like water) won't freeze.

@Biggieforlife98 Thanks for the feedback, i'll give it a shot with the rock salt.

@Freedomcostmoney i did some research and it said that the ice has to be in peices and not to big cubes. and the salt has to be rock not little peices and i tried it and it finally worked... it does good slush
No- the salt stays in the aluminum cylinder. Never touches the drink
