TEXLAX INFO - http://zanandrob.com/hair/texlax/
Texlax Instructions: http://zanandrob.com/hair/texlax/how-to-successfully-texlax-or-relax-your-hai...

This is Part 2 of how I texlax my hair. Virtually the same instructions apply if I were relaxing my hair bone straight, the major differences being, the conditioner I added to the relaxer, the processing time and how much I smooth my hair after.
It took me about 30 minutes to apply the relaxer - I am not very fast.
I have been relaxing my own hair for 5 years now and I almost never get relaxer burns.

  • Nice video, can I ask if you can relax already texlaxed hair?

  • @rt1glorie Yes, you can but bear in mind that there are risks associated with putting a relaxer on hair that has already been relaxed.

  • Thanks for all your info and your hair is gorgeous... it looks pretty thick to me!

  • @gospeldiva2 Thank u :). It actually got a lot thicker after I cut it.

  • No offense but why are your ends so thin? Are they tex-laxed as well or just regularly relaxed?

  • @twilliams9259 My ends were relaxed bone straight. I thought it was obvious from the video. I say "were" because I cut off those ends in another video.

    btw. No offense taken.

  • I am so glad that I have found your video...this makes it very simple for me to texlax! thank u! : )

  • i'm doing this in 2 or 3 days to get my natural hair to blend with my extensions. but i'm scared i will mess up and have straight hair, seeing as I have not used a relaxer in over 3 years. What do you suggest I do?

  • @WonderWomanFan4life it also didn't look straight after she rinsed the chemicals out, but she does have a nice head of hair though

  • Hey I have a question can u tell me the purpose of texlaxing?

  • if i do this with the just for me texture softener will my curl pattern still remain really curly meaning it would look more curly than straight or will it be more straight than curly?

  • i dont think your ends r thin , i just think its well straight so it wont look matty like some natural hair , and u have good length keep doing what u doing

  • ur hair is pretty and long

  • You have SUCH a nice voice!!

  • I Googled what is texlax? and your blog and video came up. Thank you I have been natural for 6 years and I have 4a/b. My life no longer has time for those 3 hour detangling sessions you talked about on your blog. Thanks for the hair lessons. Now I feel I am prepared to texlax my hair. Your hair is Beautiful and Healthy

  • i like the look of your hair braided with the sating scarf it looks VERY healthy there and i like the color. did you do something different in this video??
