Rep. Larry McDonald on a Chattanooga talk show ('82 or '83). Taken from: http://reformed-theology.org/realaudio/

"The best solution for recessions is for the Federal government to remove the ongoing constraints on the private sector of our economy. So many more people would start small businesses, so many more people would be employed, if there were not the mountain of paperwork, the maze of red tape and the staggering financial overhead from government regulations that serve as deterrents to growth. It is this fundamental area that we should be addressing." - John Ashbrook

  • Congressman Larry McDonald was assassinated by the NWO. A very informed man and a real patriot. Wish we had more people like him in Government today.

  • That's interesting. I've never heard of John Ashbrook and his "strange" death.

  • He was a congressman and President of the John Birch Society. A great American for Freedom!

  • THIS IS 1982??????

    SOUNDS LIKE 2011

  • Larry McDonald died in the KAL Flight 007 massacre when the Soviets shot down this passenger airliner in 1983.

This article states that Larry McDonald may have ended up in a Soviet prison camp after being tortured and evidently, had his identity taken from him (lobotomized???).

  • I am not anti-Jewish because there are good Jews and bad Jews just like every group probably has some renegades but here is a link to a personal testimony re: John Ashbrook:

  • @xander7ful "We are gradually being brainwashed through semantics, and little by little we are coming to believe that government action and control are good and individual action is bad. One of these days we will wake up and believe that individual freedom is tyranny and government control is really liberty. It will largely have been accomplished by the polished art of political semantics." John Ashbrook

  • @whoo689 You have to remember that the Dems were originally more conservative than the GOP. At the start of the century, you had Republicans like Teddy Roosevelt supporting environmental protection, and Democrats like Pres. Grover Cleveland defending the gold standard. Then over the years, the positions gradually switched, but white Southern Democrats were markedly conservative, McDonald being a fine example, reflecting the people who voted for them.

  • Scary part is that The principles he's arguing for,...are word for word what the "Tea Party" is advocating. Today the Tea Party is saying that are they are being accused of Right Wing Extremists,...yet, this all came from a Democrat Congressman in 1983!! That shows you how far to the left this country has drifted. If it goes any further left,...it will look like Soviet Era Russia.

  • This guy kicks ass

  • Is this a previous incarnation of Glenn Beck?

  • The criminal plutocracy had Congressman McDonald killed to set an example to the representatives in the American government to keep their mouths shut, tow the line or be eliminated.
