  • This is total bullshit!!!! How about doing what made you famous to begin with! That's what people want!!! Damn it!!! These guys get so side tracked by trying to get over when all they would have to do is do what they did before! No one wants to here your hits re did and run thru a drum machine and computerized!!! Just play the damn songs like you should and people will respect you and come see you!!! How damn fake can you be?! It just makes me angry! You don't need Timbaland or whoever the hell!

  • As long as Simon and Nick are alive, there will always be new Duran Duran albums. and thats a fact

  • @iediah a bachelor's(in what hen)

  • totally agree. they sold themselves out to the jewish guy-who was a child when they were great.Ronson .A self interested little prick.and guess what? No great album sales again.

  • @iediah "I have a Bachelor's completing my Masters" "assanign" Really ?

  • @iediah OMG!!! really!! u are a complete Moron!! yes even with you bachelor's degree..waiting on a masters!! Ugh!! With all this school work you'd think you wouls have better things to do then talk shit about the best band ever!! Just sayin!

  • Ok been a Duran Daran fan since i was about 12, I'm 41 now and have had some famouse friends, Unfortunately not anyone in Duran Duran. I do agree that they should get back to the original sound..yet there are some songs I like on their later albums. Saying shit about them as artists or people is totally and completely uncalled for!! If you don't like what you hear, simply don't listen and keep your silly replys to yourself. How hard can it be??

  • In response to your rediculous answer...I know a lot more than you do. I have a Bachelor's completing my Masters. You are the one that needs to be up-to-date with this business...Don't send an assanign answer to someone like this...

  • @iediah There's this thing called marketing, OK? We older fans, we didn't have Internet and we thought MTV was a demigod, or something. We were young; how were we to know but now the game has changed. DD has withstood the test of time, but they MUST keep up with the changing times if they are going to stay in the game. Do you get that? Because, they do...

  • @DuranDuranLiberty Maybe so, but to me DD will always be the five founding members: Simon, Nick, and the three Taylors. That is Duran Duran to me...

  • @tantricia44 Nick Rhodes is mine, sweetheart... ;)

  • @DaveRob9 I understand what you're saying, DaveRob; however, things have changed since the 1980's when Duran Duran was at their peak. In order to stay competitive, they have to stay on top of what is selling these days - even if that means that they have to compromise a little bit of what WE remember them to be, do you know what I'm saying? They are as much marketers as they are musicians - and only the clever will survive in today's day and age. Give them a little more credit... ;)
