Islamophobia: The New McCarthyism?

For the Jewish community in America, it feels very familiar that one religious community has been singled out by Congressional hearings, says Joshua Stanton, co-director of Religious Freedom USA. The Jewish community remembers the McCarthy hearings in which Jews were singled out. The Peter King hearings serve to enact and institutionalize the same kind of injustice, and the Jewish religious community is motivated to speak out against this kind of injustice.

Bullshit. McCarthy was 100% right about every single person he fingered as communist infiltrators as the Verona files later confirmed. It had nothing to do with being Jewish or any religion. This is total BS propaganda.
