Yeah, the jerk/BBQ is the best. But the tomato one is also top... like ketchup with attitude. The sort of sauce that would swear at old lady's at the bus stop, if it could. :)

  • @GhibliFan1 I will have to give it a proper go, the tomato one i mean. I love the bbq and the dip in sauce, along with the cooking one. They all have a seriously nice hot after kick which is lush. The bonus of that is, my kids and my missis hate it because it is to hot. so Lovely jubly :o)))... Though my missis is slowly starting to like the bbq one. I best stop letting her have that :O/

I also like it. I like the tomato one they do, too.

  • @GhibliFan1 well if you are right then i apologise :o) I do message before i think. After all im man enough to say its wrong to have said bull shit when i dont actually know! I just cant see how anyone can sue for using a recipe which isnt protected and i cant see that it was. Anyway sorry mate, ill have a little look for info but actually i shouldnt have replied to your comment as to be honest i dont care lol Hes nothing to me but jesus i love this sauce, reggae reggae sauce \\o o//

Search yourself... it was widely reported in the UK press. He apparently even admits privately that it wasn't his grandmother's recipe... although he disputes the legal case that he had no involvement in the recipe and says it was a joint effort between him and his now ex-friend, a local take-away owner.

  • Getting rich and famous off a spicy sauce, this wouldn't happen in Canada / U.S. Had spicy ketchup in the stores since the late 1990's. just trying to compete in the food business against the big American conglomerates market will run anyone mad.

In the U.S and Canada Salsa outsells ketchup.

With products now its really all about marketing.

Most regular supermarket...now in Toronto there are sometimes 4 different jerk brands & more when you go to a Caribbean store or those Asian markets

  • One of the questions they should have asked is "how do you sleep at night?"

Grandmother's recipe? LOL... it was his mate's recipe, who is currently suing his ass.

  • This sauce is BEAST.

  • I love the Reggae Reggae Sauce. HP Tomato Ketchup is to bland and boring for me.
