  • A very fine tone quality and very beautifully played in general.

It is surprising that Chopin was only 17 years old when he composed this nocturne.

One might argue that Franz Liszt was the greatest pianist of all time but in my opinion Frederic Chopin was a more significant artist.

I think that there is the same kind of depht and profundity - as in the Chopins output in general - in Liszt`s music only in the B minor pianosonata.

This nocturne will always be my first love.

  • I love playing this song so much, I get so lost in it...

  • The beginning is always intoxicates me with feeling and memories I havent felt yet.

  • So fucking beautiful :')

  • @KYUISOUT He didn't publish it. Who knows why. The mood is similar to the Nocturne Op. 27 No. 1 (to me at least), so maybe he was waiting to publish another piece that he liked a little better.

  • I wonder why this nocturne was published posthumously if he did this at 17.

  • Chopin é tudo de bom!

  • @pbryld stop being a smartass. so what if he called it a song?

  • I would kill to be able to play like this...

  • Seventeen?! :O I could never do that...

  • he was seventeen!!!

  • @pbryld hipster.
